How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches Humanlet Septic to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what comes next. It is a general template and is not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You are welcome to write to us about:

  • Your experience when you called or contacted Humanlet Septic
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
  • The behavior of a provider we connected you with

If the Problem Is With a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own quotes, prices, work and customer service. If you are unhappy with work on your septic system, sewer line or plumbing, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly and keep a written record.

Please still let us know. Your feedback helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short may be removed. Keep in mind that Humanlet Septic cannot settle contract disputes, refund a provider's work, or make decisions for a provider.

Sending Your Complaint

Email contact@humanlet.garden and include:

  • Your name and the easiest way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you hope for

After You Write

We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. Then we will look into what happened, which may include contacting the provider. After that, we will reply with what we found and any steps we plan to take.

Still Not Happy?

If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to take another look. You can also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For concerns about licensed plumbing or septic contractors, your state licensing board or local health department may be able to help too.
